These businesses are critical to their local economies and tax bases as employers, tourism destinations, and revenue generators for neighboring businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and retail – live events are also our lifeline for a vibrant and healthy community. The National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF), in response to Hurricane Ian, has developed a simplified and accessible application process for their Emergency Relief Fund (ERF). NIVF ERF Grants are available for up to $25,000 for performance venues for disaster-related losses so they can jumpstart their recovery.

Eligible Venues
Performance venues that have been directly affected by a natural disaster. Venues can include both for profit and nonprofit entities. Venues that program original, live music, comedy, and/or similar performing arts as a primary driver of their business are eligible. Venues do not need to be a member of NIVA to apply.
